      Strong manufacturing product line. Well respected hardware manufacturer. Great Technical Sales Support Team.

      SaaS side of the business was not well funded/managed resulting in substandard products in the market.

      Pros

      Pay and benefits are very good. For those who benefit from stock participation, that is a nice benefiit

      Cons

      Lack of a clear focus. No communication from upper management to keep troops on the right path. No one actually seems to know what the path is. Products that generate large amounts of revenue are being left to die with no investment in them to keep them competitive. With Verizon buying up all the competing software companies in the AVL space, CalAmp is going to be less and less of a player, thanks to poor decisions by management. Off-shoring software development to India is only making the problem worse.
