      Pros

      A lot of independence is granted as far as projects are concerned. My mentors have been great to me, giving me great input and being very clear on what is expected of me. Very helpful in all paperwork issues that I have had.

      Cons

      Didn't have a timely 1-1 and job assessment from the hiring manager. Not a lot of excitement as one would imagine, but good and stable environment.

      Employees are a tool to be used and thrown out

      Pros

      Big company, somewhat recession proof

      Cons

      Management cares about the bottom line. Employees are evaluated by money value only. Layoff happen with great frequency and for any reason, even no reason. Management tells employees nothing about what they are doing. They say one thing one minute, then the opposite the next to the point of being obviously misleading or dishonest. Stay away.

      My experience at CNH was disappointing

      Pros

      Overall very strong products with a good name in the market place. Certain departments are are run fairly well, like product development and certain areas of Parts & Service. There are some very good people who work there, but there are a lot of mediocre to poor performers there as well.

      Cons

      Highly competitive and no communication between leadership and employees. No cooperation between departments or even subgroups within departments. No coaching and development. If they have an issue with you, you usually will be fired instead of coached to improve - especially if you are a manager or above. Very high leadership turnover. Overall, they are not an employee focused company. People would be better off working for one of their competitors (Deere or CAT)
