Not at all a sweatshop. People are nice and hard-working. Lots of work perks and benefits.

Cons

There is stigma whenever I arrange for work from home. It seems to be looked upon as being lazy. Also, there are too many contractors in my department that have key roles or high visibility. How come I am not being developed to do what they do in their roles? That way I can grow my career and influence.

The company also paid for the overtime, carrying pagers. As company is big, if you want to swap or try other positions, talk to your manager and HR, they may help you to archive your goal.

Cons

You need strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to be competent to your jobs. Try to listen to others first and share your own opinions. It is an idea to just stay and focus your narrow field; think more and try more for the win-win of you and the company.
