Pros

- Decent compensation - Free coffee / tea - Downtown Toronto - 9-5 culture

Cons

- Culture of 'busy bodies' that backstab people. Trying to get colleagues fired seems to be a hobby of most people at this organization. - Inflated job titles. Someone who would be called a Manager somewhere else is called a Director at CIBC. A Sr. Consultant is a Sr. Manager. This has caused small people to feel they are big and important. They feel entitled to be respected and get upset when new hires don't respect a 27 year old "Sr. Mgr". Ridiculous. - Sr. Leadership are incredibly two faced and rule by intimidation. Being honest with your own manager is career suicide at this place.

Pros

Company allows horizontal and vertical moves. Productive, Fun, Supporting team, good environment to work with. My manager is an angel. Amazing hands on manager who is extremely supportive yet will give it to you straight.

Cons

This company unfortunately falls short on its ability to provide a fair equitable workplace in some instances allowing employees to carry on without proper and fair compensation for jobs taken on as temporary assignment or temporary basis.
