Pros

Work life balance was great at CIBC, and if you are fortunate enough to be in a pocket with a great people manager it's a great experience.

Cons

Your people manager defines your experience with CIBC, with the number of re-organizations it's likely you'll end up with a less than competent "lifer" at one point or another. The people who have been there for longer than twenty years actively engage in job protection, discrediting new employees and generally display unsavoury behaviours.
