Pros

Good salary compared to the market Flexibility in schedule

Cons

Competitive environment onboarding process needs to be improved. Employees thrown into their role with tons of reading material and expected to hit the ground running with limited staffing and training.

Pros

great place to work if around the great people, loved working there because of everyone around except for a few individuals which is a common journey anywhere, networking and socials life was awesome where you meet lots of people and make lots of friends

Cons

- hard work and dedication sometimes goes unnoticed and unappreciated - disappointed at the nepotism culture - as a result of which those with more relevant experience miss out. It is a sad and shocking practice that goes round. The hiring managers get away with conducting fake interviews for the sake of HR process even though they know all along who will be hired! Makes you realise all your hard work and long hours is never appreciated by some senior management the minute you complete the duration of your employment.

Pros

This Credit card adjudication job is Union job so there is not much work pressure and the managers do not put much pressure to perform.

Cons

1. The pay is near the minimum wages irrespective of your past experience and since it is under union, the increase per year is 20 cents. Yes, 20 cents!!. We might be better off working for Tim Hortons. 2. During the ongoing Covid crisis, no work from home was provided to our department. 3. No career advancement opportunities and Managers do not help in getting other jobs within CIBC 4. They bank on desperate new immigrants who want a job to atleast sustain in Canada so do not care about employees in terms of pay or job satification.
