Pros

Remote work but nothing else

Cons

There is no work life balance. It is EXPECTED you work 10-12 hours a day and if you “complain” they tell you, you can leave. The culture is anti-woman and this comes from other women. NOTHING gets accomplished because no one cares. Do not work here if you value your health and mental health.

Pros

Some really good people in the ranks, but not in management.

Cons

Low low pay. Very long hours. Company refuses to see how understaffed some departments are. Management is a joke. Awful technology and not willing to make investments in technology or people to make things better.

Pros

If you play your cards well, there are many opportunities for growth. The earlier you accept it, the better - Financial Advice/Financial Planning in the aspect of Retail Banking isn’t about helping clients accomplish their financial goals & increase their net worth - of course that’s what you accept as the reality. It is infact, getting the organization accomplish their bottom line and the Advisor is a Salesperson. So, if you’re good at sales, you’re the perfect candidate and your credentials are all about creating the expert image for the clients.

Cons

Sales - You’ve got everyone from the middle management to the Executives by your side. Service - You’ve got to be a fighter, as you struggle to assist your clients with no support, and lot of friction from the so called support system. Training is shiite, all teaching and no mentoring, coaching or support. Very little team approach. Very traditional & old school approach in processes & procedures, for most literature does not even exist. There is no creative, innovative approach to anything, seems like the higher leadership hasn’t yet discovered the real world as it is.
