Pros

CIBC offers strong, stable growth with clear goals and a thoughtful long-term vision. The culture truly stands apart from other major banks as collaborative, professional, and focused on shared success. Leadership and colleagues bring deep experience and genuinely want to work together to succeed. Pay is competitive and benefits are great compared to many other banks. The company is also very engaged in the community with meaningful charitable initiatives and employee volunteer opportunities. Innovation is a real priority, and they’ve even developed their own internal AI chat platform. Management is open to feedback and transparent about improvement efforts. Honestly, I’ve loved my time here overall.

Cons

Some processes can feel pieced together due to past acquisitions, particularly in the U.S., and certain workflows may require extra navigation. That said, leadership is aware of these challenges and is actively working to streamline processes and improve systems.
