Pros

Cheating their metrics for performance was so easy that it felt wrong (even though stealing from a multi-billion dollar corp of crooks is morally acceptable)

Cons

The management are archaic, the onboarding is laughable, the company as a whole is representative of what is wrong with the financial systems in place in north america

Pros

As a Technical Recruiter at CIBC, I have had a truly fulfilling experience. The company's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and collaboration is evident in every aspect of its operations, and this has made it a pleasure to work here. One of the things I appreciate most about CIBC is its emphasis on personal and professional growth. The company has provided me with ample opportunities to develop my skills and knowledge, whether through on-the-job training, attending conferences and seminars, or taking advantage of online resources. The management team at CIBC is incredibly supportive and empowering. They encourage and value employee feedback and ideas, creating a sense of ownership and accountability that is rare in corporate environments. The work culture is also fantastic, with a strong focus on work-life balance and employee well-being. Overall, my experience as a Technical Recruiter at CIBC has been exceptional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a supportive, inclusive, and fulfilling work environment.

Cons

Would have loved complete;y remote opportunity.
