Pros

High targets so you learn a lot Easy to hit targets at Dundas & Ossington Banking center as lots of clients

Cons

Managers don't support you to help with your career. When asked for tuition assistance they bluntly decline even though if you have connections, your colleagues get approved. Even if you hit all of your targets and are way above that, if you don't have connections, you can't grow. The technology at CIBC is pathetic leading to bad client service experience.

Great Team, Bad Leaders

Pros

Beautiful offices, friendly team for the most part.

Cons

In the HR space, there is little room for creativity and innovation. Leaders have a bit of a shiny object syndrome so it's hard to keep focus on one project for very long. Generally, there's a sense of what we are trying to achieve, but the change resistance at the top is so strong it's hard to see how we will ever get there.
