Pros

The benefits are good as well as the home - work life balance. The people are all like minded and most are very smart.

Cons

You will on occasion have to follow your client's lead when it comes to those things that affect their employees; it will likely affect you (i.e. wage freeze, etc.)

Pros

Generally, hierarchies aren't too strict and people are friendly. Work can at times be demanding but there's rarely an issue with work-life balance. Self-starters can get ahead in the company but must be demanding and manage themselves very well.

Cons

Cost containment and meager pay increases don't help employee morale. Too much is spent on recruiting agencies and consultants. Advancement and recognition of good work are hard to come by unless you are demanding. Communication from management is often lacking. Benefits are average but nothing special. Conservative culture means no jeans, and the office is generally very quiet.
