Pros

Covered parking and some restaurants within walking distance for lunch and when you work through dinner.

Cons

Poor audit department leadership. Shows-up after everyone else has arrived and leaves early giving little to no guidance, but then disciplines when mind reading skills are not accurate. Audits lack substance and bogus findings are expected to justify the departments existence. Team lunches and dinners are expected to be paid by the employee in order to keep department costs down. Audit department sits in a cubicle farm within a broom closet. The department has terrible relations with business management.

Pros

Big, recognised brand. People working there are mostly of high caliber.

Cons

Stuck in their ways from the agency heyday. Ethics are sketchy at best. Political infighting makes the work environment unpleasant. Harassment by management is never taken seriously. Terrible compensation for the amount of work required from you. Will hire you at the top of the salary band and string you along on reviews and bonuses. A promotion is equally not financially rewarding and yet requires you to bend over backwards to get it. Doing your job above expectations is not enough, you need to bleed green to please management. Not recognising individualities, trying to format characters to fit the corporate line. Following and never leading trends such as diversity and inclusion, technology and mental health awareness, ESG. Management appropriating ideas after shunning them in the first place. Always expecting employees to tell management what to do rather than showing leadership and guide the company to success. You will be asked to voice your personal objectives and then told what they should be. Training is pathetic, every year, HR comes up with a new training platform which is more of the same: Introduction courses on skills the course teacher knows nothing about other than having watched a video on YouTube.
