Management here is EXTREMELY TOXIC unless you're personally favored by them or you've got some unique talent
Nepotism / cronyism are extremely common here ; Amazon folks and Chinese folks tend to stay allied and are able to get away with so much illegal activity
You are going to be worked to death with often unobtainable goals are will be forced to compete with your coworkers and backstab people as well, it's extremely unhealthy there and mentally toxic ( someone still has to get a low rating despite everyone in a team going above and beyond)
My personal story : Manager 1 hired me and Manager 2 became my new manager..... immediately hated me due to my background and made life hell for me (did not have access to the right tools for my tasks, unable to communicate with folks necessary to do my job, my own manager became my blocker)
HR here is worse than meta & amazon...... they're useless and will lie to protect management (not minor lies, MAJOR lies) EX - they reported that a colleague that was not liked by their manager quit due to his inability to handle the work when in reality, the person who quit had a health condition that HR & management failed to provide suitable working accommodations to.
This place is a nightmare, unless you've got a manager that's truly experienced or you're able to speak Mandarin and have a solid foundation, stay away from this company.
