      Most of the leadership team is Chinese, and meetings are occasionally held in Chinese, making it harder for non-Chinese staff to engage fully in strategic discussions. There’s also a noticeable level of internal politics and unclear favoritism.

      Pros

      You will be given the chance to run multiple AI related projects, meet many people and have the chance to visit China at least once a year.

      Cons

      Extremely high pressure and extremely high work load. Deadlines are also extremely tight, most requests need to be completed within the day or two. Any request that takes longer is normally due to a massive project. However I think by far the most unacceptable thing is most of the meetings are conducted in Chinese. Despite this being a global company, it's obvious some things still have to remain in China, and the general project holders are all based there.

      There are lots of ongoing retrenchment and in the last 2 years I’ve been here there are always major org changes & reshuffles & constant changes
