Pros

- Good company culture - Good work-life balance - Smart and friendly coworkers (some of my previous coworkers are still my good friends even after I left the company) - Solid training programs on basic software engineering and finance - Life in New York City is great!

Cons

- The product is relatively mature so it might be difficult to own large scope projects. - Many of the software technologies are internal, not commonly used tech stacks in other tech companies.

I am a mid-level engineer and have been lucky to be a part of open-source first organization. The learning and work is good and we are encouraged to present at conferences. The code quality can be a little hacky so I don't recommend this company for early career engineers.

Great benefits and pay with younger driven coworkers and management. Company culture is all about helping each other grow. Also I personally enjoy the cultural and volunteering access it provides to its employers.
