Great place to start if you like fast paced environment

Pros

Since the products that the teams develop are entirely client/customer based, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle process. Teams are switching over to new technology (that's a very good sign). The entire company is transparent. You know what different teams are working on and the developers are easy to approach to.

Cons

Even though, the company has great volunteering program, there are not much employee networking events. Need a better software rollout process.

If you are brand new and could not find other options, perhaps you may get your train in faniance here. Remeber, try to switch to others as soon as possible when you get a chance.

Cons

1. One will not be surprised to find those peoples who did not know much will be promoted to the manager's positions if he knows the office poltics. 2. A company that is practicing the "manage people out" strategy when one becomes 40+. 3. No career path future even if working hard.

very good compensation, good health insurance plan. free snack and soda, breakfast.

Cons

1.No career growth at all, there are too many political stuff in this company. I saw many people who don't contribute more than others in the team but get promoted to team leader or manager, just because they have good personal relationship with their boss. 2. Not very professional in terms of software development. Bloomberg hire a lot of non-professional person to do the software development. Many people never or seldom developed software before they join this company. So there are a lot of poor code waiting for you to maintain and fix.
