The Richmond Plant is a glaring example of almost every horrible small-town stereotype. The leadership at the plant (which consists of local drunks, graduates of the rehab program, friends and family) believe not only that they are better than the blue-collar workers that run their factory, but also that they are entitled to treat those employees with the most repugnant and inappropriate forms of disrespect as a condition of employment Leadership routinely fails to meet metrics for various reasons, primarily incompetence and they simply fire whatever hardworking employee happens to be easiest to blame for their poor decision making at that moment. They can withhold pay, make your schedule erratic, deny your vacation time for the entire year, demote or fire anyone just because their supervisor is feeling petty and insecure that day, or if you upset one of their cronies on or off the clock. The supervisors at the plant have no issues taking to social media to bash the work ethic of their employees who routinely work month long stretches without a day off. Apparently wanting to spend 1 or 2 Sundays a month at home with your children means that you have a three dollar an hour work ethic, meanwhile managment ensures that the supervisors have a work life balance. The Richmond Plant has a hard time keeping female employees due to the repetitive behaviors of a few individuals and rather than deal with these supervisors with negative rizz. They have hired a team that is focusing their efforts on recruiting high school kids thinking that these young adults will be easier to manipulate. There seems to be no restriction on what can be said or done to the employees at the Richmond Plant.
