      A great name to work for but the Lehman's takeover has caused the Barclays ethos to be lost.

      Barclays Capital is a great name to work for.

      Cons

      Since the Lehman's takeover, the Barclays Capital ethos is at risk of disappearing. A number of new hires have been brought into IBD at a senior level in London with the result that there is now a large disconnect between the employees and IBD senior management.

      -Get to work on best possible projects - Possibility of taking leaves.

      Cons

      -Heavily political -Everybody looks for a scapegoat -No good interaction between teams. Its always about screwing each other. -awful bonus. -awful review. -totally inefficient institution -Promotion process is opaque.
