      Pros

      The bank supports those who work hard and take pride in their work and fade out those who expect things to be given to them. Managers are tough but fair and care greatly about their job and colleagues. laid back environment but surrounded by motivated people.

      Cons

      Employees that are ungratful for the oppurtunities they have been given- but that is something you will find anywhere.

      Pros

      Barclays will likely offer you an opportunity if you are already working in finance and hoping to grow your client base or build connections to move elsewhere.

      Cons

      Barclays has an unhealthy, destructive culture with high turnover and poor management. Coworkers are constantly stressed and unhappy and feel significantly undervalued. Although Barclays is trying to move past recent negative headlines, its stated values are not effectively implemented, and miscommunication with and misvaluation of human capital continue to be extremely problematic at all levels.

      More informal than the rest of the bank - on the surface.

      Cons

      Extremely hierarchical, and slow-moving (despite what is claimed) with minimal focus on well-being and development. Very political place - like the rest of the bank.
