Pros

Technically advanced. Mostly good people. Good maternity leave package.

Cons

Women get promoted after just 3 years on the post (even with 1 or 2 maternity leaves in between and so-so performance, although it helps if she is the wifey of some director in other department). For promoting men they really need to work hard and lucky if you are promoted after 5 years (that's if you are not Chinese, in that case you will get promoted... NEVER). Working with very intelligent quants can have some negative side effects like a good share of them are mental one way or another.

No improvement

Pros

Pays over average, no benefits bullshitting. Safe position. Great flexibility if you have family: flexible hours, occasional home office possibility, option for part time. Diversity in every sense.

Cons

As for feedback and improvement ideas: full force against such from management. First nobody wants to improve things. Then, if somebody wants so, nobody listens. Then if somebody listens, nothing happens. What finally may happen is that they tell you to shut up and work; unless there is scandal. When scandal comes, managers start to push responsibility downwards. Technology: there are new technologies but since nobody has the view on those, they work worse than old ones. Bureaucracy: impossible to achieve any goal in the time frame it would make sense. Not complaining about 3 days instead of 2... but more than a year instead of less than a month?! Internal tooling unusable. Talent retention: it's considered something that HR must solve alone, quickly and possibly without expense. What we get is an insult from employee perspective. Environment: the office is _dirty._
