Pros

Great colleagues, enjoyable workstream, particularly when involving aspects of financial crime. Supportive leaders, great SMEs and plenty of resources to access. Perks - shares awarded, annual discretionary bonus, 12 % non-contributory pension, life cover, buy/sell upto 5 days holiday, 25 days annual leave, flexible working, private health insurance, access to perksatwork

Cons

Very productivity focused using ControlIQ to track every minute of staff activity. No progression opportunities within department due to this being offshored to colleagues in India, resulting in redundancy. Very slow to implement changes. Frustrating with SLT prioritising productivity over quality - making it hard to mitigate risk Able to speak up - but no action taken afterwards. Lots of network groups but no actual impact or community from being apart of them. Barclays backstepped on their DEI initiatives as a result of US Political leadership - this really brought morale down heavily.

Pros

Its great. I like my time here and have a good team.

Cons

Hours can be long and you are expected to deliver to tight deadlines. Support could be good.

Pros

People are lovely, however by the second month you hardly ever see them as you sit next to them but are on calls all day. It's a lovely building though. Benefits are great though, can't fault that aspect - the gym on site is also wonderful.

Cons

As mentioned above, there is a code for going to the toilet but you aren't allowed to use it - instead you have to take time off of your break time, The job literally runs around your stats, you are timed on everything, you have to hit a certain criteria or you are penalised. You are told that it was nothing like other call centre jobs and that It really values its customers - However, if you spend too long on a call regardless if it is a positive conversation or the person is distressed about things - you will be called out on it. Your 'times' are posted into your teams chat so you can see who is the best and who is the worst at each aspect of the role. I found those with less empathy and more robotic approaches thrived.
