Pros

Working for BT as a senior sales professional involved a lot of dedication and hard work the company paid well and offered advancement my last manager turned out to be the best over a 5 year period I saw a lot of staff and management come and go. Visiting the clients and not being micro managed was the best part of the job hitting the targets made it all worthwhile however getting yout bonus paid out was another thing all together!! Im glad I worked with BT it is a great thing to have on your resume ........... If you want to work for a big corporate machine with full benefits then this is your oppertunity !

Cons

In the sales division getting your bonus/commission paid out on time or ever is the downside to working for BT if's and butts are candy nutts ...........

Pros

Good work, life balance in the Americas SSC (Finance).

Cons

Not in US corp headquarters (El Segundo, CA), nor UK Global Corporate headquarters, so difficult to network internally, limiting upward mobility opportunities as the company tends to promote from a UK centric perspective.

Pros

Ability to work virtually is a plus. I have saved a substantial amount of money on not having to commute daily. Additionally there is a good infrastructure in place to support telecommuting.

Cons

BT has taken on too many companies in the US in a short period of time, and has done a very poor job of integrating. They are very slow to normalize compensation, benefits, and organizational structure. The US management has no power to fix the issues because all decisions ultimately come from overseas. In some cases, people have waited 2 years to be integrated, without proper communication, nor support for career advancement. Additionally, contracting with clients is long and involved. As such clients have attrited due to procurement challenges.
