      People are the one that BT is all about.

      Pros

      Lots of helpful people around the services. Very open on issues especially within Technical people as well the project managers. Promote straight forwardness. Environment are good to work in.

      Cons

      Remuneration had reduced due the last credit crushes, HR do not bother about keeping people which resulted in loss of some skilled technical people. Very sensitive to cost saving. Some Account Manager and Sales are just waste of time and money. Process is too thick to handle.

      Great team / great colleagues Flexibility for self management Was able to have a decent work life balance Work from home and very flexible to work from many of the offices nationwide

      Cons

      Process mad Pay was low for industry Took away company cars (business needs car) Cut bonuses and pay rises Mad cost cutting measures

      Pros

      Decentralized organization/management - If you've got a good manager, life can be great.

      Cons

      Decentralized organization/management; BT is still very "British", if you are at one of the remote offices (which are almost everywhere) some of the centralized, corporate pronouncements don't apply to you. That leads you to wonder which mandatory things are really mandatory and which ones aren't.
