Pros

Before the company was taken over, Infonet was a company where everyone worked closely together, and coworkers almost felt like family (in the good sense of the word). Energetic, and flexible, things were created and people made it work. After the merger with BT, things became more organized, official, structured and additional services became available (more opportunities to sell).

Cons

After the merger, decision making processes seemed to be slower, more people had to be involved, things seem to take longer to be resolved. However, I believe that this was also due to the fact that the organisations still had to fully merge services and retrain people on the new processes (while also still using the old processes).
