      Finance in BT

      Pros

      Finance have a lot of power and in effect run the company. They are key drivers behind any deal, change or drive in BT. Finance dual role as finance and COO to an extent. I would advise anyone to work here but not make a career here.

      Cons

      Pay is very poor when considering remit and responsibility. Pay increases are sub 2% per annum (I was considered high talent and high annual rating) no pay increase for promotion. Focus is more on cutting costs then growing revenue

      Great work life balance. Relaxed and friendly environment. Career development available - if you want it.

      Cons

      Can be to much red tape to do simple things, but it is improving - slowly.
