Pros

Best wifi network in office I've ever experienced, and I had to dig deep for that one.

Cons

Management is terrible and incompetent. You will work ridiculous hours since this business reports into the UK. In addition there are other very underperforming teams around the globe that need constant attention so you will work around the clock. Like others have noted the leadership and ethical standards of this company when it comes to paying employees and business decisions are very questionable. The way this company operates is appalling and I never imagined this was possible here in the US. You WILL not have any advancement opportunities if you are not from the UK or haven't figured out some way to win them over and 'allow' you an opportunity. They constantly export UK talent over to fill higher level opportunity gaps and subsequently create a leadership mess in terms of getting things done the American way. This is evident with the recurring frequency of underperformance. They employ desperate non-repeatable tactics to report abysmal results. You cannot cripple a business through cost containment and very poor strategy and execution year after year and expect growth. This is their playbook. In addition they like to reshuffle the chairs of the Titanic believing internal reorganizations will drive growth. This company is in trouble and I only gave it one star because I had to by default. I wouldn't recommend this company to the elephant in the circus.

Pros

Telecommuting, depending on line manager.

Cons

Very poor planning and methodology in terms of reporting and requirements. For the past year expectations have been severely unreasonable, multiple last-minute requests, and all urgent. Recent offshoring immensely decreased employee morale and those teams have been unable to deliver quality work. In certain positions you are expected to be "on call", as we have to report to UK, so hours are long. Two years in a row with none to minimal bonus payout (except for C-level). Upside is that every year around bonus time we get taken out to the parking lot go have hot dogs & burgers, so there is that. Salaries are around 15% below market. I have to agree with other reviews that since going to an open environment to "stimulate collaboration", everyone seems to be less enthusiastic about going in to the office. Maybe it has been this way for a while, now we just get to see it more often.

It's An Exclusive Club for Brits in the US

Pros

Great global Telecom giant with good reputation. Great medical benifits

Cons

They've been moving US operations over to the UK and outsourcing to India and Sao Paulo for several years now. They've had well-placed senior managers from the UK loyal only to the crown while pretending to care about US employees. They talk a good game about caring for the lower staff members, but are 100% focused on the UK. Line managers have 25-30 years with the company and are ill-equipped to be people managers. Far too many US positions filled by immigrants from the UK with H1A Visas. Waste a lot of money partnering with India-based consulting companies.
