Pros

Nice mix of people work at BNP. Time off is liberal compared to most American companies. Work environment is collegial for the most part.

Cons

Lower salaries than other companies for comparable positions. Disorganized Human Resources and lack of interest in keeping employees over the long term. Significant turn over resulting from lack of attention to employee needs. Salaries are very inconsistent for the same position.

Pros

Benefits and vacation/sick time is excellent. The atmosphere is laid back. The majority of people are a pleasure to deal with.

Cons

Absolutely no growth opportunity as politics and favoritism are unfortunately the norm. Additional roles and responsibilities are encouraged, yet you are never rewarded financially for the effort put forth. Others with less technical skill and ability are promoted/paid more due to their personal relationships with managers and directors. Salaries are an absolute joke. Paris has too much control over the territories, which is slowly but surely suffocating the business as a whole. IT structure and systems are not only highly disorganized, but highly inefficient, primitive and with no clear or concise direction. Managers are tasked to make decisions that are completely political in nature while ignoring the possible adverse affects it may have on production and the end users (IT).
