      Investment banking - prop. trading division : few competent people - unhealthy atmosphere

      Pros

      Some activities are located in Paris. 44 days of vacation with a french contract.

      Cons

      Compensation not in line with competitors and related to length of service rather than perf. Very few competent managers. Very little motivation in support teams. Lots of constraints on the trading side : many useless internal after-trades procedures, existence of mandates. Too much testosterone on the trading floor : unecessary stress + unhealthy cultur + sexist environment...
