A colleague — a dedicated and outstanding employee — was subjected to what can only be described as an unjust and targeted internal audit. Despite no prior issues and a solid track record, they were singled out, micromanaged, and repeatedly questioned without transparency or fairness throughout the process.
The audit found no violations, no misconduct, and no wrongdoing — yet the company chose to terminate them anyway.
It was clear to many of us that the audit was less about uncovering real issues and more about intimidation or retaliation. The process lacked objectivity, and the emotional toll it took on the employee was profound. It created a ripple effect throughout the team, damaging morale and trust in leadership.
What’s most troubling is the message this sends: even if you do everything right, speak up professionally, and perform well, you can still be harassed, scapegoated, and discarded without cause.
If you’re considering working here, be aware that the culture can be punitive rather than supportive, and accountability seems to apply selectively. Respect and fairness should be at the core of any workplace — sadly, that was not our experience.
