Pros
I work in the Utility arm (Avangrid Networks)...competitive comp, industry-leading 401k (150% match up to 8%, so effectively 12% match), large player in both Utility and Renewables business', some smart folks. I have not met a single employee that I didn't enjoy speaking with. Culture promotes internal movement if desired. Handled Covid well. Really nice new office for Rochester employees. CEO is a great leader, although on his way out.
Cons
Healthcare plans seem expensive, common large corp process issues between US operations and Spanish parent company. Pension plan freeze on senior employees causing a massive amount of talent to retire early/quit. The formal employee development programming is buggy and convoluted. IT is based in Spain for US employees.
