      Decent pay, not worth the stress.

      Pros

      Decent pay for the area, assuming you live near and work for the Binghamton/Conklin office. Benefits are actually very good.

      Cons

      Corporate leadership is horrible. Management lacks the agency and support to make real positive change but is also void of any sense accountability. The local labor union is completely useless and ignores clear conflicts of interest. Customers are always justifiably angry and employees basically serve as damage control for poor management. CSRs are measured on meaningless metrics while actual effectiveness in customer care and problem resolution are ignored. Good luck!

      Don’t expect to stay here long

      Pros

      Ample benefits for both union & non union employees. The Orange office is nice & well maintained.

      Cons

      Everyone is overloaded so there is a high rate of burnout & turnover. You see people leave so frequently i can only assume this is in some measure intentional. It feels like they want to squeeze a high volume of work out of you until you get frustrated and quit. Prepare to be treated like a criminal any time you take unplanned PTO/sick time, or need to adjust your WFH/office hybrid schedule. Currently they are asking people with active COVID infection to come into the office, just masked. In general they talk a big game about work-life balance but this is not supported by actual office culture or policies.

      On call, however that's required. Only on call 1 week on 3 weeks off.
