Pros

Benefits and retirement company match, up to 10% (7-10% company match). PTO accrual and sick leave (personal time). The company has incentives for process improvements and employee recognition programs. Employee assistance program available, 1x salary life insurance provided to the employee at no cost. On-site nurse (depending on facility). Music is allowed in one ear, but not both.

Cons

High expectations with an excessive workload. No sitting is allowed, unless you're on break, which must be centered around the workload and other employees' availability to cover your workspace. Loud atmosphere with concrete floors, which is hard on the lower back, legs, and feet. PTO (scheduled vacation) is almost impossible to get approved to during the spring, summer, and fall. Vacation requests are often denied during these seasons, unless you request the time off a month or more in advance. Personnel in the workplace are outspoken and like to criticize others, instead of being inclusive and mentoring them to be/do better. Management doesn’t listen to employee feedback, like they have in the past. Feedback is offered to management, in return, management responds politically, to avoid accountability/ liability.

Pros

Bonus allowances, overtime paid, insurance.

Cons

Most of departments don't give young person to learn and handle the job given; hoping all senior staffs to settle jobs. Then, how they want to become better especially in operation, if old, senior staffs resign? No backup or extra plans after that. Staffs becomes overwork. (Focus on Raw Mat and Finished Goods) No clear job scope, ever. Always changing frequently without any discussion. Unprofessional. Politics in working were obvious. Usually on low level position. Career progress too Stagnant.
