Pros

I had a great experience working as a Systems Engineer at Autodesk. The company fosters a collaborative and innovative environment, with supportive leadership and plenty of opportunities for growth. Autodesk emphasizes work-life balance and encourages continuous learning through professional development programs. The projects were challenging but rewarding, and I felt like my contributions were valued. Overall, I highly recommend Autodesk to those seeking a dynamic and engaging workplace.

Cons

While Autodesk supports professional development, some employees feel that advancement opportunities can be limited in highly specialized roles.

Pros

Good company benefits, office location in barcelona, software industry leader in AEC.

Cons

Autodesk’s mid-market segment in AEC is dominated by a senior demographic, fostering an extremely political and slow-moving culture. Many employees are comfortable as order-takers, relying on Autodesk’s market leader status rather than driving growth. For more dynamic professionals coming from fast-paced environments, this culture may feel stifling. Attempts to introduce efficiency or innovative approaches are met with extreme resistance, as it might highlight inefficiencies in current way of work. Collaboration sometimes feels more like a power struggle than a team effort. Additionally, if you have a poor manager, be prepared to be used as a scapegoat for their shortcomings. It’s a common practice, as the culture is a zero ownership culture.
