Pros

Autodesk is a very friendly, supportive and kind technology company. The pace is picking up, with the new CEO, but it is still a lifestyle company that allows flexibility for families or other life priorities. While it is a company where you can build a long-term career (and many people have, there's a lot of loyalty), there is also a serious issue with lack of diversity at the leadership levels. So, if you're a woman, or minority, you can expect to face many of the same hurdles in furthering your career as you would at other tech companies! There is, however, a lot of change happening in HR and a push for more inclusive hiring practices and management techniques with the promise of shifting this over time. The benefits are excellent.

Cons

Few women or minorities in leadership. Big enough to be beaurocratic, but small enough to find good opportunities to shine and make a difference. Loyalty and career longevity has led to many in leadership having old-school mentalities and not necessarily being agile enough to be inspiring.

Pros

Decent company health benefits, diversity

Cons

Bad teamwork (or should I say exclusion of certain team members): Only people with same language skills get along. This doesn’t sound like the diversity trainings Autodesk is providing. Micro-management: Unlike the same teams in EMEA and AMER, APAC might make you feel like you’re working in a contact centre (yes, people do check without you knowing - your reporting time to work, your toilet breaks, lunch breaks, what time you leave office, etc). Whereas other geos are more flexible in working hours and options to WFH, you’re expected to report to work on time in APAC unless you want to be criticized (yes, take note some are not happy that you leave on time when you’re a newbie). Training: No structured training provided and you might be criticized/blamed for not picking things up quick enough and not performing up to expectations. Although it is a MNC with diverse cultures, I would not recommend unless you like this type of work environment or management style.

Pros

Autodesk is an enjoyable working environment. They offer a great work life balance, flexibility to work from home or a CBD location. Great opportunities to travel domestically to suit your family life balance. Great career opportunities to move both vertically and horizontally within the organization, in Sales, Technical, and Management.

Cons

No cons at all. Great additional working perks.
