Pros

culture and diversity work life balance

Cons

- Managerial politics in some teams - Budget distribution/allocations lead to zero/minimum appraisal this is also to specific team which higher management is not aware about internal politics - Manager decides your role and level you will work, irrespective of the experience and skill set. - For the same task in different projects few get hats off/appreciation/applause and some are not even recognised - No matter how much efforts you put in, everything will depend on manager and budget.

Pros

Autodesk is a company with a real purpose, and really puts its money where its mouth is with regards to its purpose. The work life balance is as great as it is rumored to be. It can be exciting when you're on a team that is focused, as the colleagues are some of the greatest in any industry.

Cons

Constant reorganizations cause a lack of momentum and the politics can be thick. Because this org is so engineering led, they are falling behind in terms of the innovation that could be happening if they were more design-led. But leadership doesn't understand the role of design. Career opportunities are unevenly distributed - certain orgs are much harder to advance than others. Agile practice is a mess - some groups are great, others don't know agile from a hole in the ground.
