Pros

ESPP program. Employee leadership program which prepared you for the teamwork. Reasonably equipped offices. Good hardware available to developers. Good teamwork.

Cons

Making the Autodesk software "Cloud dependent" (SaaS similar to Adobe model) meant loss of a lot of traditional customers. This created a pressure environment on the employee side and need for large restructuring of the company. In time of restructuring, the software company reacted by laying off large groups of their software developers regardless of their performance. In 2018 Autodesk laid off 1150 people, mostly in software developer roles, because the product was finished and the company required the money for marketing. This happened besides the semiregular 5-10% layoffs.
