Great benefits and competitive salary if you can deal with the frustrating integration with AZ

Pros

Great benefits and good salary. Work atmosphere is generally cordial. Promotion and title depend on the department you are in. Commercial tends to see little upward movement and is very chaotic due to the ongoing integration with AZ. R&D gets a lot of support/resources.

Cons

Promotion in commercial is subject at best--much depends on timing and openings. Many stay in the same position for years due to stagnant growth.

-Great people -Great products -Company VERY well respected by Drs -Good work/life/balance

Cons

-Management always seem to be 1 year behind. Projects are launched before all the etails have been worked out. -Career progression depends solely on your manager. -Bonus structure is a joke - no transparency and always a reason each quarter why it wont be paid out -Metrics are used as the barometer here - no importance placed on value of customer

-disfunctional medical and clinical department -Weak leadership not respected -entry level employees receive little direction -management not held accountable -Really bad management hires -Ineffective leadership unable to get things done -Overworked and inexperienced people running projects -Nothing done about results of annual employee survey -Favoritism rampant
