AppD was great company to work for. It's turned more toxic. There's a lot of great people, however, as with a lot of sales type role(s) there can be a lot of backstabbing. This is mainly because the higher levels of Sales Leadership that have taken over in the last year. Mandatory shut down(s) a couple times a year which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but they force you to use your PTO for those date(s).
Since Cisco brought AppD, the product went stagnant for far too long. While they're back to innovation, it's almost all catch up work and nothing new. Our "new" platform others have already had in the market including Splunk. I don't foresee much longevity for AppD core. I truly hope I'm wrong.
