      Pros

      - Great sales team and sales methodology - Ability to attract top sales talent - Great technology

      Cons

      - Top Management commitment (vesting time approaches) - “Lion” sales culture (unrealistic leading indicators drive people to exaggerate Weekly activity) - Retention (AppD attracts the best guys, but lose majority of us in months)

      Pros

      This place is awesome! In my experience, AppD is really deliberate about who they hire, so everyone who makes the cut is super smart, kind, hardworking, and fun. Management also affords you a high level of trust, which is really important to me. My team works from home on Fridays, but I usually still come into the office because it's a great place to be. So many cool perks and fun things happening all the time. You can get a massage every week!

      Cons

      Unless you have the world's greatest self-control, you will gain weight due to the constant supply of snacks and free meals. Also, one of our floors is the "Cisco floor," so we have to carry two badges around for AppD and Cisco. Ugh, the struggle is real!

      Pros

      AppD provides an environment where you will learn to be the best version of yourself. The sales discipline is not just beneficial for your career at AppDynamics, but is a skillset you develop that will be valuable to you the rest of your career. If you want to learn to be the best at what you do, AppDynamics is the best company you could work for, hands down.

      Cons

      A perfect company does not exist, but there is very little I can say negatively about AppD.
