- large global organization - good utilization and deployment of resources - unparalleled ability to use analytics to drive business - exposure to entire marketplace and largest client profiles - compensation for technical and support staff matches market - offers "technical broker specialist" roles (no sales requirements)

- often too internally focused despite efforts to be client-focused - top heavy; regimented and structured - compensation for producers lags market - difficult to advance unless part of a specialist group - not much internal training provided - entrepreneurship not always encouraged
