Pros

For analog circuits, ADI is one of the best companies to work for. Environment is good, people are technically strong and you feel motivated to grow technically. Resources for learning are great. There is a whole range of circuits from amplifiers, comparators, switched capacitor circuits, ADC DAC which you can learn here in ADI and which will be valuable in Industry. Design cycle is short usually 6 months and you can be the owner of several chips in few years.

Cons

I think you have to spend at least 4-5 years before management seriously starts awarding you. Compensation wise not the best company to work for, but is fairly competitive. Though the environment is pretty relaxed but sometimes the deadlines are fairly tight.

Pros

ADI offers amazing technology. The company has a treasure trove of technical knowledge base for anyone (especially early-career employees) to learn. Collaborative culture. Very high quality people. If you are lucky, you will have good management who supports you and your career development.

Cons

If you are an international student/employee who needs sponsorship, the process at ADI is slow. The concerning part is that there does not seem to be a transparent company-wide policy regarding when to start the green card process.

Pros

The benefits are good and the work is engaging

Cons

Leadership is constantly churning at the top, and upper management stay only long enough to make a change and collect a bonus, but not to face the consequences of their impact. Decent starting pay, but will not give competitive increases unless you leave and come back. Teams are constantly understaffed despite being assured at a company level that they would not be as a result of large layoffs.
