      Very engineering driven company, slow in all respects and not a good place for career growth.

      Pros

      Ray Stata (founder). Solid engineering talent. Specialized market niche based on technology leadership. Great people. Haven for semiconductor professionals in the Boston area. Customers really value the brand.

      Cons

      Run too much by "old buddy" network, so a lot of less-than-professional practices are accepted. Future growth potential is doubtful, especially with the "betting big" approach. Often fails to compete in the big leagues because of bureaucratic leadership and sclerotic engineers.

      Pros

      Great people at this place... I made some good friends I'll keep forever. Some product families are really strong, some no so much. But the good ones dominate the business.

      Cons

      Sometimes it's too nice and they keep people that should be retired. Sometimes they loose their focus and hunger to win business.

      Pros

      Laid back. No rush for deadlines. Innovative projects and technical tool sets. People are very helping, friendly and supportive. No issues working from home or remotely till you get the job done. A Matrix work environment. Overall a good place to begin a s/w career as 'll get to learn many processes of IT in a product based domain.

      Cons

      Zero or very less documentation. Everything is in people's head. Many old hags in the IT dept, lacks youngsters. Pay is not competitive as per market rate. Most of the work is outsourced to offshore teams and very minimal inhouse expertise.
