      Pros

      Great IP, interesting work, 50+ years in Semiconductor and Device Design, a lot of engineers with good knowledge and a lot to learn from everyone.

      Cons

      Mergers and Acquisitions have changed the culture in the company, especially after the Maxim acquisition. There are a lot of ladder climbers positioning themselves into roles they are/were not qualified for.

      Pros

      If you're recognized as a self starter and you get results you won't be micro managed. Management are beginning to respond more constructively after rapid expansion.

      Cons

      Day to day consistent work can sometimes be overlooked when it comes to promotions. Keyboard warriors sometimes get the bump in favour of more reliable team members with less profile. Lack of definition of responsibilities within roles can contribute towards passing the problem.
