Pros
Huge amount of resources to pull technical information from including access to the best analog talent in industry including IEEE access.
Cons
The organization/bureaucracy is its own worst enemy in getting anything done. They have the largest talent pool of analog designers and management does not care one iota if half of them walk out the door as evidence by a large exodus of quality analog design engineers in recent months, knowing there are better companies to work for....for ADI upper management, it's a pro...means lower R&D costs. It's being run by bean counters and marketing which has an over-inflated opinion of their value. Just about everything bad stereotyped with large corporations is found how things are run at ADI. They re-organize every 1-2 years, so hopefully you can see a product out the door in that time because your work could very well be cancelled.
