Pros

Flexible schedule, WFH option (depending on role, I can't because I need a ton of equipment), good pay, good benefits, good coworkers

Cons

Slight uncertainty in job security, but this is very common in tech overall right now. You pay for lunch (~$10/meal), but it's cheaper than anything else in the area. Commutes can be long or rent can be expensive. It's hard to balance the two, but the pay compensates for the highest cost-of-living city in the US.

Pros

+ Very interested in training & development to turn you into the best engineer you can be. + Lots of mobility/opportunities to move to where you are most interested and where you think you can do the most good. + Competent senior leadership that looks to the future when strategic planning. + Work was interesting and varied. + Company culture is very friendly, welcoming, laid-back without being lazy. Many fun extra-curriculars/volunteering to participate in. + Work/life balance is excellent. + Future of the company is bright.

Cons

- Path to promotion sometimes unclear. Need to take initiative (not necessarily a bad thing) - Total compensation something to be desired, contributing factor to decision to leave.
