      Supports work / life balance and flexible work arrangements, including virtual and part time positions. Offers great benefits including training, tuition reimbursement, 401K match, employee assistance programs, legal assistance program, etc. American Express is actively involved in giving back to the community, and encourages employees to do so, particularly through the employee charity gift matching program. Good development and growth opportunities. Measures employee satisfaction and holds leaders accountable for improvement where needed.

      Because of company size and upgrade ramifications, the progression in technological improvements is slower than optimal. Individuals or groups supporting specific processes or applications seem to constantly change. The result is lack of ownership and slow response and resolution when issues arise.
