Pros

Well they pay you at par with other Tech companies out there. You will learn a lot if you are interested about Fintech and customer service

Cons

With the new leadership 90% Asians. It's all politics. Who knows who. If you want to rise who all do you know. How well can you please your leaders. To get work aligned and prioritize the constant need for escalations No respect for human life or time or commitments. No work life balance. I am saying this as I have seen this company change, I worked there for more than 10years until I realized it is horrible beyond words

Pros

Good salary and high bonus starting from 12%. Possibility to learn a lot inside.

Cons

Investment on external learning are scarce, they exist only on papers. Company has gone nut for diversity and inclusion starting silently to consider candidates and promotions based on race/gender/orientation rather than merit. Executive management has created a strong inequality foundation in sake of marketing the diversity and inclusion outside.

Pros

Large organization with many opportunity to move around

Cons

Leader like to proclaim the organization as whole is build on relationships. However, this is hidden code to describe a organization that’s that thrives on dysfunctional internal competition, narcissism, and passive aggressive behaviors that’s driven top down from leadership. Process based roles are not valued at Amex; This include scrum master, RTEs, project manager, portfolio managers. I would rate career growth 1 on a scale of 1- 10 for these type roles regardless of level. Management despise agile data and metrics that limits their ability to own the true performance narrative. Product and technology Delivery commitments/dates are use rarely meet as a result of mismanagement and over commitment of scrum teams and agile release trains capacity. This is driven by senior department leadership.
