Pros

- You will get to work on bigger scale, any action can impact thousands of customers. - You will get to work with some smart minds on this planet.

Cons

You will not get to work with latest technologies because softwares which are getting used in amazon are no where getting used and it is not possible to migrate whole to new software without bringing down whole amazon more than once in a year.

Pros

Really big company and fast paced. You will get to work on some really cool things. The pay is very good.

Cons

Oncall can be crazy You will either love it or hate it based on your manager. Most of what you will work on won't help you outside of AWS.
