Pros
Amazon doesn't act like a company, it's more like thousands of tiny startups in a trench coat acting like 1 company. When it's good, it's good, but when it's bad, it's really bad.
Cons
Each team has some similarities, but the thing I've noticed is your team is either doing well or it's struggling, and it's rare to see that change. When a team is doing well, it's great, but if your team is low-performing, it rarely gets better, and you need to get out before you get sucked down with it.
