Pros

Amazon has the bones of a great company. They truly obsess over customers and are in tune with the customer experience.

Cons

Depending on where you work in the company (who you report to), Amazon's Leadership Principles can be weaponized against you. For example, if you aren't willing to work nights and weekends or over national holidays, certain leaders will tell you "you aren't being Customer Obsessed." Unfortunately, the few HR mechanisms in place are insufficient to deal with toxic leaders, so you may see toxic leaders stay in the company for years.
